About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved baking — watching my mom and grandma in the kitchen was probably where it all started! Like most French kids, I began with the classic gâteau au yaourt (yogurt cake). I'd bake for my parents and friends, but never took it much further… until I became a mom.

That's when I really got into it, baking afternoon snacks for the kids — the beloved French goûter tradition. It quickly became a ritual.

Then we moved to Miami, which was a wonderful adventure — but we missed the French baguette so much! I started baking it myself, tweaked the recipe to my liking, and began sharing it with neighbors and friends. When they asked if I'd sell it, and whether I made other French specialties like madeleines, I realized there was something worth pursuing here.

And so, Mademoiselle in the kitchen was born — a home bakery rooted in French tradition, made to bring a little taste of France to your table. I'm always exploring new recipes, and I can't wait to share them with you!
